Provenance: Private collection Mobile, AL, purchased from the artist at the 1990 Alabama Realists Exhibition.
Jeffrey E. Babine, a native of New York residing in Alabama, received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and his Master of Fine Arts from the University of Arizona in Tucson. Babine's pencil drawings and charcoal drawings have been exhibited in numerous regional and national art exhibitions such as the 15th Annual Paper in Particular, 24th Bradley National, Alabama Showcase II, 30th and 34th North Dakota Print and Drawing Annual, American Drawing Biennial at the Muscarelle Museum of Art, 33rd Annual National Juried Exhibition at the San Diego Art Institue, and the LaGrange National XII. Collections include the University of North Dakota, University of Alabama in Huntsville, Mobile Museum of Fine Arts, the BE & K Foundation, the Henry Ford Hospital, and the Wiregrass Museum of Art.
