In the Renaissance Revival Rose pattern from the Barrettoni già Antonibon pottery in Nove, Italy, a set of two hand painted square shaped serving platters, circa 1930s.
An overall floral decoration with a bright blue dash and dot border on a scallop rimmed platters. Brightly glazed, the Rose floral pattern is distinctive to this type of Italian majolica ceramics.
9.5 in. in diameter x 1.0 in. H
Marked: Stamped with the importer’s mark, JW Co. and Nove Flower, Hand Painted, Italy – on the versos.
