This is a fantastic, antique and all original sleigh spindle-back carriage or buggy bench seat of solid wood construction, forged iron hardware and planked seat with an inset glove box.

Horse-drawn carriages have been in use for at least 3,500 years. This bench seat is from a 19th century American-made horse drawn carriage using high standards of craftsmanship.
