Randy Strong’s website states:
Strong has dedicated his life to pushing the limits of hot glass and developing a style that cannot be found elsewhere.
Artist String combines his eye for contemporary design with ancient techniques of glassblowing. He has been called a modern master of an ancient craft. His work is elegant and highly sought after by individuals and institutions. Randy Strong’s work is in prominent private and public collections. His work is collected all over the world and shown in museums including the Louvre, the Osaka Museum of Art, the San Francisco Museum of Art, the John D. Rockefeller Collection, and many others. Randy Strong was the winner of the juried 2005 and 2009 Niche award for blown glass, Although Strong closed his studio in 2019, he continues to make a few pieces each year.
