The cup and saucer each are decorated in with a cartouche with two monograms and the image of joined hands. A heart and two doves rest atop the cartouche, which is surrounded by floral garlands.

The set dates to the late 18th century and was made for either the American or European market.

The cup and saucer are in overall good, as-pictured used estate condition with no chips, cracks or repairs noted. Each piece has some light wear to the decoration, rubbing to the gold, some fine and light glaze and surface scratches throughout, and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
