The front bears an engraved dedication that reads: Port Dover Regatta - Judge's Cup - Won by Yacht Alarm - Aug 10th 1886.

It is in overall good, as-pictured used estate condition with a few holes drilled for mounting, some edge wear, a very few light indentions and dings here and there, some fine and light surface scratches throughout, and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.

The plaque is unmarked for fineness.
