The base of the lamp is in good overall condition for the age, the brass is showing plenty of wear from the decades however with small spots of discoloration, bit of light oxidation here and there, etc.. The shade has no holes or rips that I can see and the original wiring works properly.

Stunning vintage c.1950's mid century modern brushed gold brass and & black wrought iron table lamp, with it's original vintage fiberglass two tier shade! Super cool design, very nice shape and elegant form! The shade has a beautiful warm glow when lit as well, really a splendid accent lamp!
It measures 27 3/4" tall overall, and 19 1/2" tall to the top of the light socket with the shade measuring 16 1/2" in diameter by 8 1/2" tall.
