Hand carved in high relief depicting a narrative military scene, most likely from the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, it is painted with a matte golden gilt over deep red. This is an architectural element and dates circa 1850. Including stand it measures 6.25” high, 10.25” long, 3.75” deep.
