The upholstery is in a … more Newly Reupholstered Early 20th Century Antique Burled Biedermeier Sofa in a High-End Designer Fabric Upholstery. The upholstery is in a high-end designer fabric that is a heavy velvet-like material textured in a feather pattern. This sofa is truly stunning. There are some minor chips to the burled veneer on one of the arms which you can see in the photos. Please note that the chips to veneer blend-in with the wood arm so it’s not as noticeable. There is a small gap to the upper left top of the sofa where the wood borders meet (see photo) very small and barley noticeable. There may be some minor chips to some of the veneer on the bottom and feet of sofa but overall this piece is in incredible condition for age and usage. The sofa is in the exact condition as it is shown in photos. The back of the sofa is beautifully done in the same custom upholstery.
