The table top finish is called "herringbone" it has a purposely textured design see photo nine. All chairs have been protected with Smith Kote fabric protection. I love this set, it’s gorgeous. There are no flaws to note on the table or any of the chairs. This thing is indestructible. Its so hard to find a huge round table like this!! They don't make them like this anymore - this is real wood no fake pressed chunks. I have been able to seat 8-10 at this table with no problems. Originally priced over 15K. This would be perfect for a staging company because it is large enough to make a dining room complete with the table and chairs and round fits nicely into almost every dining room.
