Up for sale is an antique French figural mantel clock, featuring a statue of a Pandora, seated with her box.
This piece is absolutely stunning and is extremely large, making a statement in any room. The movement is marked Japy Freres. The statues are gilded metal, and they rest on a large Belgian slate base.
The piece is in overall good condition. There are a few nicks in the base from normal age and wear, and some age spots and non-invasive crackling in the metalwork on back.
