Set of 9 Tibetan prayer shrines that are individually framed in contemporary open front shadow boxes (6"x6"x1.75") that can be hung on a wall or placed standing up. Originally the prayer boxes were either placed in a home with other religious objects or worn as a portable shrine by men or women for festivals. Every prayer box houses a painted Buddhist clay figure (stats).
Made of bronze, clay and pigment. The bronze boxes vary in size from 2" to 3.75" tall less
