EXTREMELY RARE Yale 1918 Baseball Champions Framed, Matted Silver Gelatin Photo by Pach Brothers, a NY studio with New Haven … more EXTREMELY RARE Yale 1918 Baseball Champions Framed, Matted Silver Gelatin Photo by Pach Brothers, a NY studio with New Haven outpost from the late 19th century through this post-WWI period.

Frame is in excellent condition, as is the photograph. I believe this is a silver gelatin print due to the sepia tone (when developed from film, images are invisible until a chemical developer brings out the light-sensitive silver halides in the film and converts them to metallic silver; sepia toner converts the metallic silver to a sulfide compound called silver sulfide which makes photographs last longer and more fade resistant.). The photograph has NOT been taken out of its frame and tested, however the photo is iridescent when viewed at an angle (see photos).
