The geometric top is inlaid with, … more A Round Plaid Scottish inlaid mosaic stone Snuff Box with hinged gilt metal fittings. The geometric top is inlaid with, Green Agate and Chalcedony. The base is a solid piece of light brown Chalcedony. The inside of the top is lined with slate.

Measures approximately, 2“ x 2” x ¾”. Pictured next to a quarter coin for scale. In very good condition, there is a scratch inside the base but it does not go through to the other side. top The hinged box closes good and tight. Circa 1860.
