- This plaster ceiling medallion is hand-cast by our own craftsman from a mold made from an antique (circa 1820) medallion … more This plaster ceiling medallion is hand-cast by our own craftsman from a mold made from an antique (circa 1820) medallion in a period home. It will add a significant architectural element to your room. The deep bas-relief acanthus leaf detailing works well with many styles of chandeliers and pendant light fixtures. Can be used as provided in raw plaster, or painted any color such as the color of your woodwork. Easy to install, instructions provided. Center hole is 3.375" diameter, so works best if your fixture's ceiling cap/canopy is 3.75" to 6" in diameter. Can also be used for wall decoration. Note: We have a number of other ceiling medallions of various designs and sizes. However, because of how it is created, this design is available in one size only.
