This is one of … more We recently purchased a collection of original fashion hat designs created for leading French millineries c1935. This is one of the group we purchased in Paris. Done on “calque”, a fragile translucent paper, with pencil and enhanced with details in China marker. The design features a hat called the “Claud Monet”. It is a wide brim hat design that is soft, delicate and elegant. Note the detail. The stem of the flower begins in a sinuous green, wraps the brim, and culminates with a pink poppy blossom, the “pivot rose”. This drawing is 8 x 10. 25 inches. It comes custom matted in a neutral tone 16 x 20 inch custom mat that is ready for a standard size frame. See companion hat design offered in our shop or ask about others. less
