His landscapes are primarily the Redwood forests and the hills, valley and bays around Santa Cruz and San Francisco. He later moved to Northern Virginia, painting there and in New England.
This is from a collection of more than 100 works by Harnett and his father Benjamin John Harnett (1873-1914) all of which will be offered on Chairish.
