Botehs (Paisley) are unusual in Oushak rugs and as a sole, all-over pattern they are rarer still. Botehs in yellow and green face alternatively right and left row by row, within a triple yellow and off-white border system in the Persian tribal manner. This extremely charming small Oushak circa 1900 was woven originally as a low-priced alternative to similar Persian rustic rugs. less
