That series still could be seen on tv). She still has more items to comes in next month. She was a very down to earth person, the reason that I say that because once I met her at the Laker's game in Los Angeles. The Serapi that I am offering here, came from her estate, this is a very early Serapi from the late 1800s possibly 1880 and as unlike most of the regular Serapis, this one has a very tight weave. If you refer r to picture #11, you could see the backside of it, shows the tight weaves. As far as the color combination goes, it is absolutely phenomenal, awesome ivory background, which is a very plus in Serapis because it does not come that easy like red, plus other fabulous colors, please, refer to the close-ups, all show true colors of the rug, also all dyes are vegetables. Now regarding the condition, for those who love the look of the antique thin rugs with worn out look, this would be an ideal for them, there are many restorations in this rug, I believe she has spent the fortune to reweave some part of the rug, the areas where show the lighter colors are the repaired area. If you refereed to all close-ups you could see the white repaired areas. Also, it has two tiny holes that we will fix those holes, also we can make those white repaired area match the background color just by paying a few hundred dollars more. This is a gorgeous Serapi, measures 12' x 14', which is almost an impossible size to find. If I said that the size like this one comes in every 10000 I am not exaggerating. Finally, for the price that I am offering no one could go wrong, this look of thin worn-out antique rugs are the trend in today's market, and when it comes to Serapi prices drastically will go up, and if I said that it could be doubled in price, it is very much possible because of the size. If you wanted to buy this from any high-end retailers you had to pay at least 20k. If you had any questions, please, contact me prior to the purchase. See less
