The light creamy colors and the workmanship … more Beautiful handmade doors of painted wood with hand-inlaid bone creating a leaf pattern. The light creamy colors and the workmanship of the bone inlay are phenomenal together. The center plates of the doors are hand-hammered German silver over wood. The design of these plates begins with hand-carved wood and is followed by placing the silver over the wood and hand-hammering it creating the impression on the silver. The technique is centuries old and has been perfected. The doors are identical on both sides and each plate has a silver hoop pull. Each door measures 21 inches wide for a final combined size of 42 inches wide.
