You can see one statue is soliciting the Vestal Virgin of Rome, heating her hand among the flame. The second statue is a woman in Roman robes Behind her is a tree stump and at one time she held something in her hand. The piece is missing and would need to be replaced. The third statue depicts a Roman man, in one hand he is holding a sis and the other a farming hoe. The fourth statue depicts a man also in Roman clothing with a basket of grapes sitting atop a tree stump.These statues I believe are made of iron they are very heavy and very solid. Unfortunately overtime one of the statues has been painted but could easily be stripped. The four of these statues sat in the secret garden of an $89 million home in Bel Air California. We are so lucky to have salvage them and they are incredible in person.The statues look very old but I am not sure of their true age. All of the statues are slightly different in size but are all around the same ballpark. less
