This beautiful watercolor is by the noted Montana artist Bob Barkell (1950- ). The painting is in very good condition. The frame is in good condition with a few very tiny dings, visible upon very close inspection in bright light. From Deer Lodge, Montana, and born in Bozeman, Bob Barkell has been the artist-in-residence at the Grant-Kohrs Ranch National Historic Site. He is also the leader of the Frontier Montana Gathering, an association of Montana artists. Barkell’s work captures the essence of living in Montana. less
