The three-layer image is composed of two glass layers and a third background surface. The outer glass is printed with a framing mat. The middle layer is printed with a layer of neoclassical imagery of horse riders and horsemen walking the horses. Both prints are hand-tinted in pale tones on black and white images. The back layer is a layer of sky imagery in pale blue. The three layers present a 2 " deep shadow box play of shadows inside the box.
The condition is very good. The image is in the original giltwood frame with heavy construction. The size is 10"tall by 20" less
