Description: This pretty vase and tray are a natural earthen grayish color background with pretty blue floral design. The finish is … more This pretty vase and tray are a natural earthen grayish color background with pretty blue floral design. The finish is a sort of satin glaze - not real shiny but has sheen to it. The flowers are somewhat abstract, but they could be an iris perhaps. These were my Aunt's and I am sure she told me she purchased them in Vermont. I could not find any information about the studio or artist by looking at the mark on the bottom of these. You can see ridges from the potter's wheel on the inside of the vase. The vase is 7" tall x 4" wide/deep. The mouth of the vase is 2 1/2". The tray is 9" from handle to handle, 5 3/4" wide, and about 3/4" deep. The dimensions below are for the vase. I'm guessing at the age. . . . could be a bit earlier than I reference below, maybe from the 1980s or 90s. less
