Versatile antique 3 drawer bachelor's chest with with pull out shelve and solid brass hardware. The pull-out shelf can be used to lay clothes, for writing notes, or to set drinks. Bachelor's chests were designed in 17th century England to serve different purposes and were perfect for an unmarried gentleman as they were used in the tiny space found in a bachelor’s pad. Dating circa 1900, it was made by the A. L. Diament and Co. who at that time were makers of "distinctive furniture". The nice clean lines of this piece will make it easy to place in any decor.
