It has a "Dimple" on the surface but is hardly noticeable. There is also some minor tarnish between the dips of the pie crust edge. I inherited this from my father after he passed. It's been in my life from the time I was one! The model in the photo I shared with the tabletop is my mother! I don't know who the belly dancer was! It was in very tarnished condition and I spent 25 hours polishing it. It was several stages to get this back to it's deserved brilliance. less

This very rare Middle Eastern, Turkish 45 inch round Moroccan brass tray table is hand Engraved and embossed with detailed geometric designs.
This is a highly polished brass Moroccan tray with a 2.5" vertical pie crust edge is in remarkable condition. The base shown is no longer available. Just the 45" brass tray.
It is very sturdy and really beautiful. My father bought this in Turkey and brought it back after using it in a Fashion photoshoot for Harper's Bazaar. I Attached one photo used for that spread from 1962. It is absolutely stunning! It's so shiny you can see my reflection on the surface. I worked my butt off to bring out its fine details! I spent months looking for a base for it and finally found the one I am displaying it on. I sold it with another brass tabletop.
Can be used as a coffee table or used as a dining table, depending on the base one finds desireable.

It's worth every penny! Don't let this one get away! This has a great history and makes a fabulous conversation piece! less
