Dating to the early 18th century, this very rare form is decorated in the Moustiers style and possibly from the workshop of Clermont-Ferrand.
With grotesque mask handles and the original lid.
Measures: Length: ca. 14 1/2 in.
Provenance: From the estate of George Lucas of Baltimore, Maryland. Thought to have been purchased by Lucas in France in the 19th century. less
