A finely cast French sculpture after Jean-Didier Debut of a Tunisian Water Carrier cast by the Pinedo Bronzier foundry of Paris.
Entitled: Porteur d' Eau Tunisien
The bronze depicts a robust young man in mid-stride bearing two large water vessels.
The front of the plinth bears a small plaque that reads: Prix de Rome. The base bears a Debut signature, a Paris bronze guarantee pastille.
Measures: height ca. 12 1/2 in.
