He is considered to be a clown in contemporary Balinese stories. He frequently appears in the form of a servant in wayang. This particular statue was salvaged out of the incredible 89 million dollar Hadid estate in bel air and was situated in the secret garden. I’m not sure of it’s true age but it looks like it could be a reproduction of the old statues. See less
