- Old Farmhouse Kitchen Sink Double Washboard Cast-Iron 78x22x18. Such a great old sink salvaged out of a 1920s home in … more Old Farmhouse Kitchen Sink Double Washboard Cast-Iron 78x22x18. Such a great old sink salvaged out of a 1920s home in Pacific Palisades owned by sculptor Patricia Louisiana Knopp. This sink is massive in size measuring in at grand 78 inches with a double washboard. It has been a long time since we have seen a sink like this surface usually only the single washboard on the right side and usually In not that good of condition. I don’t know a lot about the sink it is marked on the bottom with what looks possibly like the name NONCO .. The sink is cast-iron and extremely heavy. There are two holes cut out in the backsplash of the sink from center to center measure approximately 8 inches. The sink is in overall good condition I did notice some weathering in the basin which appears to be consistent with age . We have been doing salvage for over 30 years and this is the first time we have come across the cast-iron sink with double washboard this is a great opportunity to get a sink like this. I tried to include all detail in the photos but it is very hard to photograph along the edge as you can see the ripples where the beautiful glaze has covered the cast-iron we have noticed this effect only comes with the old tubs and sinks. less
