The light is in great condition for its age I did not notice any major damage or repairs however there is obviously some surface where and scratches but considering style I do not see that this would even be a problem it is almost made to look worn out.

- This is an amazing Wall sconce that is made in the brutalist style which is a name used for an … more This is an amazing Wall sconce that is made in the brutalist style which is a name used for an architectural era known for their hard edges, jagged shapes, rough surfaces, patinated finishes, asymmetrical organic designs, and metallic color palettes. Popular in the 1960s and 1970s, Brutalism originated post–World War II when the design of low-cost housing and government buildings was composed of mainly raw, unrefined materials. The architects and builders sought to project a sense of strength through their fortress-like designs, while also celebrating the imperfect appeal of handmade items. It's literally scrappy, and absolutely beautiful in the same sense. This wall sconce has a bronze color finish but it looks like a mixture of metals. Because of the way that the sconces made it could be used interior or exterior. I am not sure if this light was made by Tom Greene or Paul Evans but it sure does mimic what they have made in the past. less
