This bridal wardrobe comes from southern Germany, to be precise from Franconia. The piece of furniture has been restored at some point, which means that some of the decorative frames have been replaced, including the lock. All in all, the cabinet has lost none of its characteristic appearance. The soft blue color is quite special and contrasts nicely with the sides and door, which are painted in calmer tones. The painting in the panels is also beautiful to look at. The inside is equipped with a shelf and coat hooks, but you can easily add more shelves if desired. In the past, it was customary to give bridal furniture like this as a gift to the couple at a wedding. This furniture was subsequently placed on the farm in a stately room that was only rarely used for high-ranking visitors or special occasions. A beautiful and decorative piece of history.
