19th century flame mahogany tall chest of drawers circa 1870.
Fine quality caddy top tall chest of drawers, which is also known as a seminere chest, because of the use of 7 drawers.
Made using mahogany and flame mahogany veneers. Caddy shaped top surface stands above 7 graduating drawers, which are veneered in a striking flame mahogany. Each drawer is fitted with a brass wreath ringed handle and escutheon plate. Original locks and key still present.
Standing on a front turned leg with block feet to the rear.
Rich colour and original patina.
Minor surface marks to 1 side, recently re-finished in our workshop and ready for the home.
