The painting overall is in good condition, has some craquelures due to age, no holes. No visible signature on the front. has notes on the backside of canvas: By C.Foster 494 Pine Str Providence, RI. Christmas 1879. Looks like this painting was a Christmas gift, which means it was painted even before 1879.

Presented in a period wood frame. The frame has some scuffs and scratches due to age.
