A delicate and intricately worked antique Dresden Porcelain Fruit Basket and Underplate. The form is rare and a technical tour de force. Few of these forms (for obvious reasons) have survived.
The sides are pierced on both the fruit basket and Stand and are decorated in pink, green and gilding throughout. The interior of the bowl is richly decorated with a bouquet of typical Dresden flowers.
Manufactured by the Adolf Hamann workshops in the 19th century.
