Both ends have an opening one measures 4.50 inches and the other 1 inch in diameter. This piece is the last one and larger of the two we had. We placed the other on a clients center hall table with a battery operated pillar candle inside, it reflects the design onto the wall in the evening. We were told that everyone who enters their home marvels at the show. less
