This pattern is simply exquisite and one of the most sought-after patterns Mottahedeh made. It contains oriental rugs, florals, insects and bugs, all in superbly done detail with gold accents. Both pieces are marked, and all three items are in excellent condition. This piece would be outstanding in the center of a table, the bright colors of pinks, yellows, blues, greens and oranges are so lovely. This is a 20 C reproduction piece of Lowestoff porcelain from the 1700s. I believe the pattern is Lowestoff Rose.
