Vintage; Hollywood Regency era, French-style, x-mitered low bench, and/or stool on a cream colored Mettelasse' textile, a "To the Trade," … Read more Vintage; Hollywood Regency era, French-style, x-mitered low bench, and/or stool on a cream colored Mettelasse' textile, a "To the Trade," textile, with double- self-welted detail. The textile is a Mattelasse', stitched Harlequin, or diamond-shaped overall pattern, with minute, silver threaded and embroidered, x-shaped, overall concentric design motif. The legs of this adorable bench has curved feet or ends, with incised detail, in a gold detail, with the center of the x-mitered leg, having an attached architectural, medallion design. The textile is in great condition, given the duration of this piece owned by the Owner's, as well as the period of manufacture, normal, conducive, and indicative of used pieces. See less
