It is 65 years old and in near new condition, it would be a shame not to show this off.
The firm was founded in the 1920's in Elizabeth NJ, they created costume jewelry,
cigarette cases, accessories, as well as compacts. It is in Brass.
Collecting Compacts is an exciting idea said Rita Hayworth, the ad was placed in the October 1948 issue of Harper's Bazaar. Volupte' advertised in the Coronation edition of Life magazine
