A colorful Camel Shriner's Lamp made from what is called "chalkware", a composition which is plaster-like, then hand-painted, probably from the 40's. The original label is on the underside and still mostly legible, reading "Wadefred Specialty SHRINE LAMP 2633 Germantown Avenue Phila, PA." Some minor scuffs and some brown stains on the back of the camel, but otherwise, in good condition. It has been rewired: the accompanying lampshade was how it was found. It has a few stains but is usable if desired.
A charming bedroom lamp for a boy's room or on a table in a den. The camel is 9" long and stands a foot tall with the shade. less
