Antique original, Fully stamped to the base circa 1880, large, Thonet Bentwood solid Beech wood eight prong coat stand / … Read more Antique original, Fully stamped to the base circa 1880, large, Thonet Bentwood solid Beech wood eight prong coat stand / rack This is in my opinion the finest hat, coat and umbrella rack I have ever seen, you would have come across this design many times over the years, this is where it all originated from, this was the first one ever designed, it has the stunning hand carved oversized feet, it is an six prong which is the second largest, it is a wonderful and important antique that any fine furniture connoisseur will recognize straight away This piece has been lightly restored to include a deep clean, hand condition wax and hand polish, it is in period perfect order throughout Dimensions Height:- 196cm Width:- 74cm Depth:- 74cm Measurements are taken at the widest point. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
