Octagonal dish, Chinese export porcelain, Qing Period, Qianlong Reign (1736-1795). Blue and white decoration, called "Canton", representing a river landscape with a bridge, pagodas and boats along the river.
Elaborate central landscape, depicting a serene environment, with rolling mountains in the background, small boats sailing on a river and houses scattered amidst the vegetation.
