19th century victorian painted bureau circa 1890.
Here we offer a painted bureau on behalf of a local registered charity.
Flame mahogany bureau given a modern twist, using a matt black paint and hand painted gold detailing.
Fall drops down to a writing height of 29" and to provide access to the fully fitted interior of a double door lockable tabernacle, flanked each side by pigeon holes and drawers. Fitted with later brass hardware.
Flame mahogany drawer fronts have been retained, with later wooden handles, this provides a good contrast to the black main body.
Minor surface marks to woodwork.
