the top is very thick, made up of four planks with sockets, it rests on 8 massive legs. A low top allows you to imagine it as a draper's table, a central island, a table in a boutique\.
completely restored, this table has been completely sanded, treated, lightly stained to bring out its veining then protected with a transparent matte varnish.
we love its unique patina, the marks of the past making it an absolutely unique piece of furniture.
we could easily imagine a small extension of 8 feet, in order to give it a central island height approaching 90 cm if that seems more practical. Thank you for asking me.
this piece of furniture is very old, it comes from a former printing workshop, so old marks, traces, nuances, patina exist and are obviously present, please refer to the numerous photos.
