Mahogany … Read more Elegant original art deco sideboard or buffet by levitan from france/paris around 1930. High-gloss black piano lacquer on wood. Mahogany veneered interior with a removable shelf on the left and right. Three drawers in the middle, veneered inside in mahogany. Original chrome-plated half-moon fittings with ornaments on the two doors and three curved handles on the drawers. Cream-white parchment under the side fittings and on the front of the top drawer. Central open bar compartment in the center with mirrors at the sides and back and a cream lacquered glass plate at the bottom. Inside on top with a bar lighting. Rear cable with european plug in the back. Stainless steel trims around the base, chrome-colored strips at the top of the edges and chrome-plated hinges, some of which have been replaced. Rectangular portor marble plate at the top. Manufacturer's emblem from levitan, paris in the drawer: “ets levitan, paris, 63. B4 magenta”. Fully restored condition. Measurements: h 109 cm / 42.9 in w 180.5 cm / 71.06 in d 58 cm / 22.83 in this piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
