A rare fine vintage large Staffordshire Style decorative pitcher depicting well dressed Cat with a Hat holding a book, by Mottahedeh, a fine china company founded by Mildred and Rafi Mottahedeh in the mid of 20th century. Marked underneath the base. Felt pads to protect furniture. Hand made and hand painted. Very detailed. Colors are brilliant. Excellent condition - gently used for display only. Italy or Japan, circa late 20th century.
