A beautiful bronze alarm clock named Cronstadt. The 1890 VENOT FRERES catalogue listed the alarm clock under number 5511.
The weight is almost 620 gr
The height is 7 inches (17.5 cm )
The alarm clock body is made of embossed brass and decorated with a carved gilded floral pattern around the circumference.
The movement was created by a 19th- 20th-century French manufacturer, Japy Frères! The movement is in excellent condition and can be seen through a glass window on the back of the alarm clock. The springs in barrels. Both winding knobs are genuine.
The cardboard dial with Roman numerals is covered by the original glass window, with no scratches.
The hands are made of black-blued metal. On the back cover, there is a stamp of the trading house E.A.
The time and alarm can be adjusted on the back of the clock
Overall this item is in very good condition.
