This is an amazing piece of iron that was used on the outside of a 1920s Spanish building to hold … more This is an amazing piece of iron that was used on the outside of a 1920s Spanish building to hold in place a hanging light. My favorite part about the piece is that at the tip it features a dragons face and throughout its body has Spanish style scrolling and flower details. It was originally used to hold a gothic style lantern over the front of the main entry door. There are two pieces that come out from the sides to add extra support to the building and are drilled to screw into the wall. This piece was originally a dark color iron And overtime has been painted brown probably to match the color of the building. This piece would definitely be worth restoring and worth every penny. I believe it would look amazing sandblasted and re-done with black. less
