1970s John Widdicomb George III Style Secretary Desk. Features a double-bonnet top with antiqued mirrored doors that reveal a well-appointed interior with three adjustable shelves. The drop-down work surface is supported by two automatically extending brackets and includes cubbies and drawers inside. Above, two slide-out candle shelves add functionality. The base offers four dovetailed drawers for additional storage. The cream-painted finish with faux crackling and mottling contrasts with the brass hardware and creates a lighter, less intrusive aesthetic compared to a traditional dark wood cabinet. Excellent vintage condition with minor wear and blemishes consistent with well-maintained vintage furniture. Made in the USA, 1970's.
