It is made of wood with a black lacquer finish, decorated with mother-of-pearl and bone inlays for the figures and plants. There is a soft pink velvet lining, with compartments for rings and other jewelry, and a second storage compartment underneath the top removable shelf. There’s also a mirror inside the lid.
